Welcome to the Mystery Spot
My idea is that we spend the first while of our mystery story blog just throwing ideas out there.
The first rule of brainstorming is: There are no bad ideas.
The second rule: The MORE ideas the better.
The third rule: "Piggybacking" on other's ideas is not only good, it's ENCOURAGED!
...
One way that I've initiated writing partnerships before is by using the:
"What if...?" game.
What if.....[fill in your mystery scenario]?
Ready, set. post.

we need a big idea for a plot. The easiest realm for me to think in is a religious organization for the setting. any ideas?
another possibility is to base the mystery in a cabin-like context -- not necessarily "the cabin" but an area like that
